At Wild Trout Foundation CIC, we recognise that personal information is shared with us in trust. We are committed to protecting the privacy, dignity and safety of everyone who engages with our organisation, including children, young people, adults, families, staff and volunteers, in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We collect only the information necessary to support participation, safety and the effective running of our provision. This may include personal and emergency contact details, medical and accessibility information, safeguarding information, referral information, attendance records, consent records and payment information where applicable.
We collect and process only the information necessary to provide safe, effective and lawful services, and only where we have a lawful basis for doing so under UK GDPR.
How We Store and Share Information
· Paper records are stored securely and digital records are held on password-protected systems.
· Information is retained only for as long as necessary and in line with legal requirements.
· Personal information is never sold or shared for marketing purposes.
· Information is shared only where necessary to support safety, wellbeing or participation.
· Photographs and videos are used only with prior written consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.
Your Rights
Individuals have the right to access, correct or request erasure of their data where appropriate and to raise concerns about how their information is used.
